Please keep in mind that at the time these banner ads were created, the size limit was 12-15k for any banner. "Flash" banner ads were not even in existance at this time.
So - I liked relying on striking graphic and kwirky animation to get attention on the page and for higher click through rate. I think there was something to be said for the way a banner ad appears on a webpage. Compare the EdifaceRex and OneSoft with the WalMart banners that i also developed and i think you will see what i mean. WalMarts' branding did not lend itself to these creative approaches but certainly still worked for WalMart.
